Eumovate 0.05% Cream (Clobetasone Butyrate - Eczema)

Description

Usage

Apply a thin layer to the affected area once or twice a day, usually for no more than 2 weeks unless your prescriber advises a longer course. Rub in gently and wash your hands after, unless treating the hands.

Side Effects

Local stinging or burning on application can occur. With longer or more frequent use than recommended, skin thinning, stretch marks or visible blood vessels can develop, particularly on thinner skin such as the face or skin folds.

Ingredients

The active ingredient is clobetasone butyrate 0.05% w/w.

Warnings

Avoid using on the face, skin folds, or in children without specific medical advice, as these areas are more prone to steroid-related skin thinning. Don't use on infected or broken skin unless an appropriate antimicrobial treatment is also being used. Don't use for prolonged periods without review.
