Who looks after your care
Prescription-only medicines are supplied only after a prescriber has reviewed your consultation and decided the treatment is right for you. Our clinical team is named, with registration numbers you can look up:
- Hamza Iqbal Naheed · Superintendent Pharmacist · GPhC 2209194
How an online consultation works
- 1. You answer a questionnaire. It asks about your symptoms, your medical history and any other medicines you take.
- 2. A prescriber reviews it. They may approve the treatment, suggest a different one, ask you for more information, or decline to prescribe.
- 3. The pharmacy dispenses and dispatches. A pharmacist checks the prescription before it leaves us.
A request is not an order. If a treatment is not suitable for you, it will not be prescribed, and you are not charged for a medicine we do not supply. We may ask your consent to tell your GP. We do not supply prescription-only medicines to anyone under 18.
How we talk about medicines
- UK law does not allow prescription-only medicines to be advertised to the public, so we do not promote them by name. Our condition pages describe the options a prescriber may consider, including what they are not good for.
- Prices for prescription-only treatments appear once you are in a consultation, not as an offer to buy. There are no discount codes, bundles or free trials on prescription treatments.
- We do not take bookings or payment for a medicine that is not licensed and available in the UK, and we do not run waiting lists for one.
- Medicines you can buy without a prescription (pharmacy and general sale medicines) are listed openly with their prices, because that is allowed and useful.
Side effects, concerns and complaints
- A side effect: report it to us, and to the MHRA through the Yellow Card scheme. For anything severe, call 999 or go to A&E.
- A complaint about us: see our complaints policy.
- Your data: our privacy policy explains what we hold and why.
- Anything else: contact us or call 023 8251 5648. This site is not for emergencies.
