Senna 7.5mg Tablets (Generic Senokot - Constipation)

Description

Usage

Take 2 tablets at bedtime, adjusting to 1 to 4 tablets as needed for your bowels to move comfortably. It usually works within 8 to 12 hours, so an evening dose typically means a bowel movement the next morning.

Side Effects

Abdominal cramping is fairly common, especially at higher doses. Diarrhoea can occur if too much is taken.

Ingredients

The active ingredient is senna (sennosides) 7.5mg.

Warnings

Not intended for regular, long-term use, if constipation continues for more than a week despite treatment, see a pharmacist or doctor. Avoid if you have a blockage in the bowel, or unexplained abdominal pain. Not recommended for children under 12 without medical advice.
