Description

Usage

Take one tablet as a single dose, chewed, swallowed whole, or crushed and mixed with food, as preferred. Because reinfection is common, a second dose after 2 weeks is often recommended, and it's usual to treat the whole household at the same time.

Side Effects

Mild abdominal pain or diarrhoea can occur occasionally, but side effects are generally uncommon.

The active ingredient is mebendazole 100mg.

Warnings

Not recommended for children under 2, or in pregnancy, without medical advice. Good hygiene alongside treatment, washing hands, keeping nails short, and washing bedding and nightwear, helps prevent reinfection and spread to others.
