Description

Usage

Insert one tablet into the vagina each night for the first 2 weeks, then reduce to twice a week for ongoing maintenance, using the applicator provided. Wash your hands before and after use.

Side Effects

Mild vaginal irritation, itching, or discharge can occur, especially when starting treatment. Because absorption into the bloodstream is very low, whole-body hormone side effects are uncommon, but can rarely include breast tenderness or spotting.

Ingredients

The active ingredient is estradiol 10 micrograms per vaginal tablet.

Warnings

Not suitable if you've had breast cancer, certain other hormone-sensitive cancers, unexplained vaginal bleeding, or a history of blood clots, unless specifically advised by a specialist. Tell your prescriber about any past hormone-related conditions before starting.
