Clotrimazole 1% Cream (Male Thrush - Candidal Balanitis)

Description

Usage

Apply a thin layer to the affected area 2 to 3 times a day, continuing for a few days after symptoms clear, typically up to 2 to 4 weeks in total. Wash your hands before and after applying.

Side Effects

Mild burning, stinging or irritation at the application site can happen, particularly when you first start using it. Allergic reactions are uncommon.

Ingredients

The active ingredient is clotrimazole 1% w/w.

Warnings

For external use only, avoid the eyes and inside of the urethra. This cream can weaken latex condoms, so use an alternative method of contraception while using it and for a few days after. See a doctor if symptoms don't improve within 2 weeks, or if you have diabetes, as thrush can be a sign this needs better control.
