Brulidine 0.15% Antiseptic Cream (Minor Wounds & Skin Infections)

Description

Usage

Apply to the affected area and cover with a dressing if appropriate, reapplying each time you change the dressing. Continue until the wound has healed or the infection has cleared. Wash your hands before and after applying. Don't use on deep wounds, bites or serious burns without having them checked by a doctor first.

Side Effects

Mild local irritation, or an allergic skin reaction, can occur occasionally, but this is generally very well tolerated. This cream contains lanolin (wool fat), which can occasionally cause a skin reaction in people sensitive to it.

Ingredients

The active ingredient is dibrompropamidine isethionate 0.15% w/w.

Warnings

For external use only, keep away from the eyes. Don't use on deep, puncture or heavily contaminated wounds, animal bites, or serious burns without a doctor's assessment. If an infection is spreading or not improving within 5 to 7 days, see a doctor, as you may need an antibiotic taken by mouth.
