Description

Usage

Apply to the affected area up to twice a day, morning and night, for a maximum of 7 days unless your prescriber advises otherwise. Wash your hands before and after applying, and use gently around the anal area.

Side Effects

Mild local irritation or a burning sensation can occur on application. Prolonged use beyond a week isn't recommended, as the steroid component can thin the skin in this area if overused.

Warnings

Only use for up to 7 days at a time. See a doctor if you notice rectal bleeding, as this always needs checking rather than being self-treated, and if symptoms haven't improved after a week of treatment.
