Acetic Acid 2% Ear Spray (EarCalm - Otitis Externa)

Description

Usage

Spray once or twice into the affected ear, 3 to 4 times a day. Tilt your head to the side and gently pull your ear to help the spray reach the canal. Continue for up to 7 days.

Side Effects

A mild stinging sensation in the ear after use is common, particularly if the skin in the ear canal is already irritated.

Ingredients

The active ingredient is acetic acid 2% w/w.

Warnings

Don't use if you have a perforated eardrum, or if you're not sure whether your eardrum is intact, check with a pharmacist or doctor first if you have any doubt. See a doctor if symptoms haven't improved after a week, or if you develop worsening pain, discharge or hearing loss.
