Description

Usage

Dissolve 1 to 3 sachets a day in water, drinking each dissolved sachet promptly. It usually takes 1 to 2 days to have an effect, though it can occasionally take a little longer.

Side Effects

Bloating, abdominal discomfort and wind are fairly common, especially when starting treatment.

Warnings

Avoid if you have a blockage or perforation in the bowel, or severe inflammatory bowel disease. If you're using this for a build-up of stool (faecal impaction) rather than everyday constipation, higher doses over a shorter period are usually used under guidance.
